Tucker is continuing to grow well, now at approximately 3lbs 3oz. You can see in today's photo that his hand is by his face (as he contemplates the mysteries of the universe?) Tucker continues to be a very happy, easy, baby!! Along with me, a happy, healthy mom.

My brother and I made a pilgrimage to Arkansas last week. We have been sorting through some of my mother's belongings and wanted to bring the items to keep back to Texas. And because my mom was a saver, I now have the wooden toy box and small wooden rocking chair that I used as a child. I love having these items in my house, waiting for Tucker, as it furthers his connection to Grandma April.

Also, my brother constructed a changing table during his brief visit to Houston (big thanks to Uncle Shawn!!). Tucker's crib is in a box waiting for Shawn's next visit. Good thing we have a very handy Uncle in the family. :)

The hour is getting late, so I'm off to read Tucker his bedtime story. We are starting the tradition early...
